What I Actually Bought

These will all look familiar if you checked out my What I’m Buying in April post, but I am very proud to say that I have exactly stuck to my list. I have no intention of buying anything else. If I had unlimited funds, I absolutely would have stocked up on some of my regular daily use products, but alas we live in a world without unlimited financial resources for most of us.
One. Rare Beauty Perfect Strokes Volumizing Mascara. I need a new mascara and I’ve been influenced by Whitney Simmons.
Two. Topicals High Roller Ingrown Hair Tonic with AHA and BHA. It’s that time of year.
Three. Herbivore Moon Dew 1% Bakuchiol + Peptides Eye Cream. I haven’t been using an eye cream in months, and honestly I haven’t noticed a difference, but I’m staring down the barrel of 30 and I’m feeling some anxiety.
Four. Summer Fridays Midnight Ritual Retinol Renewal Serum. See above.
Five. Supergoop Glow Screen SPF40. This is also in my holy grails, I love this stuff. And I’ve been out of it for a while and been using up my Unseen Sunscreen, but I don’t like that nearly as much.
My Holy Grail Products

One. Fenty Beauty Gloss Bomb Lip Gloss in Fenty Glow.
Two. Fenty Stunna Lip Paint Longwear Fluid Lip Colour in Uncensored.
Three. Rare Beauty Soft Pinch Liquid Blush in Happy.
Four. Clinique Almost Lipstick in Black Cherry.
Five. The Ordinary 7% Glycolic Acid Solution. I haven’t used this in months, but if you get bad bumps in your underarms after shaving this saved me. And it’s effects seem to have lasted after using up the bottle, which lasted for months.
Six. Farmacy Green Clean Cleansing Balm. This has completely disappeared from Sephora Canada’s website, I’m scared.
Seven. Farmacy Deep Sweep 2% BHA Pore Cleaning Toner with Moringa + Papaya.
Eight. First Aid Beauty Ultra Repair Cream Intense Hydration. If this ever goes off market I will have a melt down.
Nine. Biossance Squalane + Vitamin C Rose Oil. This is so expensive that I wish I hated it.
Ten. Supergoop Glow Screen SPF 40.
Eleven. Not Pictured. Summer Fridays Lip Butter Balms. I wish I didn’t love this stuff, but it just feels so good on and is thick without being sticky.
What I Would Have Bought If Money Were No Object

Now this is if I had just won the lottery or had the kind of income where money was no object, or no debt/bills.
One. Dyson Supersonic Hair Dryer Gift Set. I don’t think I want the Air Wrap, but I am intrigued by the hair dryer and how every hair stylist I’ve been to in the past several years have all switched to it.
Two. Fenty Perfume. I tried this last time I was in a Sephora in person. I didn’t like it at first but when it sat for a bit, OMG, it smelled unbelievable.
Three. Carolina Herrera Good Girl. This is another perfume I wish I didn’t like. I hate the high heel shaped bottle, I think it’s tacky. But it smells wonderful. I also am still working through my purchase of Phlur’s Missing Person and I don’t need another full size perfume anytime soon, although I may go for the roller ball. So many places are scent free now that I don’t get enough wear out of perfume to spend money on full-size bottles.
Four. The NuFace. I don’t know if I believe in this, but since I don’t live in a place where I can access treatments, I would be intrigued to try it out. It is supposed to help with tightening, fine lines and wrinkles, and skin texture. However, I do not care enough about any of those things to drop $500 on this.
Are you shopping the Sephora sale? If so, what are you buying?
