We’re only a few days into February, but it has this energy, there is a stress, an anxiety, a rushed feeling to the energy this month. February is such a short month, but it feels like time is moving so much faster than normal this year. Maybe it’s age. Maybe it’s just that things are so much better than they have been the past few years because the pandemic isn’t an emergency at the moment. I don’t know. I just know that time is moving at warp speed.

As usual, most of these are self-explanatory, but there are a couple that I would like to elaborate on:
- Third places: these are spaces outside of your home and work that you spend time in. I really feel like I lost all my third places over the past couple years, between the pandemic and moving to a really small town that doesn’t have a ton of options. But I’ve decided I want to start spending time at the coffee shop on Saturday afternoons, establish a third place.
- Being delusional: this isn’t about acting foolish, it’s about identifying the habits and behaviors of the person I want to be, and acting them out as best I can with the person that I am right now.
