This was an absolute roller-coaster of a week. I started on such a high, looking forward to an amazing long weekend in the city and going to a concert, but that did not happen.
High: I really liked my Valentine’s Day outfit and I got to get a lot of rest this week (can you tell I’m trying to look on the bright side?).
Low: I fell two weeks ago now, and I tried to pretend that it was all good and that I was fine, but I was not fine. In fact, I broke my tailbone, I am writing this from my “donut pillow” aka “invalid cushion” it is pathetic and sad and extremely painful.

Tuesday//
What I did: worked from the office, came home and tried to pretend that my back didn’t hurt.
What I wore: Dress – old – Dex, Heart-embroidered button down – old – Dex, Tights – Snag

Wednesday//
What I did: Worked from the office, broke down crying when one of my colleagues asked how I was doing, and went to the ER
What I wore: Turtleneck – old – Joe Fresh, Trousers – old – Joes Fresh, Belt – Mark’s (I really need to get a black belt, this is the only belt I own).

Thursday//Friday//Saturday// Honestly IDK
What I did: lay on the couch with pain meds and muscle relaxants
What I wore: Workout tank – old – Joe Fresh, Leggings – Lululemon

Sunday//
What I did: lay on the couch, drove to Dryden to get my “invalid cushion”
What I wore: Top – Girlfriend Collective, Leggings – Aerie
Here’s to a better week and pain management!

I love this series! I’m fascinated by people’s personal style. I’m so sorry about your back, though. I hope it starts to heal more quickly for you. 🤍

Thank you! I am really already feeling 1000x better than I did last week. And me too! Seeing what other people wear is my favourite part of blogs and social media!
