The Friday Edit: Vol. 6

What I Did This Week:

This week was solely focused on back pain, I slipped and fell last Monday and I thought I was fine, but I am very not fine. I have never really had back pain before, but this is something else. One of my co-workers asked me how I was doing Wednesday morning and I just started crying. I didn’t mean to, it just happened. I then took myself to the hospital and I have some painkillers, muscle relaxants, exercises, and time off work but I don’t know if there is anything worse than back pain.

Also I keep sneezing, I think because I haven’t been able to keep up with cleaning as much and omg does sneezing hurt.

Kelsea Ballerini dropped her ep, it is so different from her latest album which was also post-divorce. The album is so hopeful, so positive, but this is raw – and one of the most stunning things I’ve ever seen.

I didn’t blog as much this week, I couldn’t keep up with everything.

A Week-ish in Outfits

What I’m Buying in February. This has also completely changed because I am no longer going to Minneapolis for a concert this weekend, which means no Target or Trader Joes. I waited as long as I could to cancel my trip without losing too much money. I’m eating the cost of the concert tickets. I’m starting to think that Maggie Rogers and I are cursed, I was also supposed to see her in Toronto in 2019 and I had the stomach flu and couldn’t go then.

Caught my eye//

I didn’t do any online shopping this week, I’ve just been sleeping and trying to do the bare minimum.

Weekly media//

Season 12 of Criminal Minds is now on Disney+.

A lot of TikTok.

Such a Fun Age by Kiley Reid.

Have a great weekend,

  1. I suggest epsom salt baths with as much hot water as you can stand. Extra Strength Tylenol, sleeping pill and muscle relaxer combo after the Epsom bath, but before you go to sleep. A heating pad for about ten minutes on your back.

Physical Therapy was extremely helpful if you can get someone who is 1 on 1 with a private practice, but hopefully this is just a one off and you will be up and running, lickety-split.
