This is another month where most of these items (maybe all of these items I have already purchased), mostly while I was on vacation. I think I may try and get some taper candles so that I can fill my candlesticks and make it all cozy in here, but I want beeswax candlesticks and I haven’t seen them here.
One. Wilfred Only Slip Dress. I did not mean to buy this, I did have a slip dress on my 2023 shopping list (post coming later this month), but I didn’t mean to buy it immediately. But I tried it on at the Wilfred store in the Eaton Centre, and I wasn’t sure about it, but the sales girl really sold me on it. She was working hard and I fell for it.
Two. Matt and Nat Shoulder Bag. So I can’t actually find the one I have online, but this one is similar. Although I am starting to second guess myself and think that maybe this is the one the I bought. I bought it at a boutique, didn’t pay attention to the name and only bought it because it was on sale and I got Christmas money from my Granny. Although it has become my go-to purse ever since, it fits my water bottle, wallet, Naloxone kit, sunglasses, touch-up kit, notebook, etc. I really like it.
Three. The Villa by Rachel Hawkins. This was a really good book, and the current Bad on Paper book club pick.
Four. Good Girl Complex by Elle Kennedy. Another fun book, I read this in a day.
Five. Rare Beauty Soft Pinch Blush in Happy. I want to get more into cream and liquid products, I think they give such a nice finish on the skin.
Six. Fenty Beauty Stunna Lip Paint in Uncensored. This is the best red lipstick, I tried dupes, I’ve tried others (the only I haven’t tried yet is the MAC lipstick in Ruby Woo, which I would like to try, it’s literally iconic.
Seven. Milk Makeup Hydro Grip Primer. I wanted to think that primer was a scam, but this one makes me believe that it is not. It really makes your makeup last all day.
Eight. The Cloisters by Katy Hays. I still haven’t read this one, but it’s about a museum curator who gets a job working at The Met: Cloisters and discovers a mystery in trying to prove the provenance of what they believe is the first deck of Tarot cards ever.
Nine. Summer Fridays Lip Butter Balm in Vanilla Beige. I lost my last tube of this and it’s really the very best lip balm and I hate it for it.
Ten. Birthstone Earrings and Necklace. The necklace seems to be sold out, but the earrings are still available. I really like them. The earrings fit a bit like huggie and are super comfortable and easy to wear and sleep in.
I’m doing a bit of a post-vacation low-buy I also just don’t really need anything more at the moment. Including a pair of black platform heeled Mary Janes that I have been thinking about buying for months.
