I’m starting to feel like a real adult, because this is the first year that I have found December to be very overwhelming, stressful, and just going by way too quickly. I mean I found December stressful during undergrad and grad school, but that was because of school and finals season, not because it was December. Now I’m just finding it stressful because it doesn’t feel like there is enough time to actually enjoy the season. Like I’m starting to even question having put up my Christmas decorations, because I’m home approximately eight days in December. I’ve already done it, so I’m not taking them down, but I am wondering what the point was.
