This month I am refocusing on this post as a way for me to budget and plan my purchases, to be really intentional with my wardrobe and purchases. I have been starting to think (in my head, I do need to write it down/put it in an Excel sheet or something) about having a really concrete financial plan, rather than just a vague plan that I keep in my head.

One. J.Crew Collection Halter-Neck Fringe Hem Dress in Crepe. Another wedding guest dress. But I’m really excited about this one, it hasn’t arrived (nor shipped yet, which since I paid for rush shipping is a bit anxiety-inducing). The fringe seems so fun! And I’ve been loving halter necklines lately. And two weeks ago it was $544 CAD, and I paid $97 and change, thanks to it being on sale and a 50% off code!

Two. Nespresso pods. I’ve missed having real Nespresso pods in my house, I want to have them again.

Three. Nike Women’s Blazers in Blue and White Gingham! Look at these! These are more a summer item for sure, and I haven’t one hundred percent made up my mind about them, but I do need new white sneakers because my old Supergas did not survive my 20k steps a day in New York. But I’m also considering Vejas, New Balance, or just a plain white leather pair.

Four. L.L. Bean Women’s True Shape Jeans, High Rise, Straight Leg. Another item that did not survive New York were my straight leg jeans, I want a pair that are slimmer, I find them a bit more practical for workwear than the really wide jeans. And they are also more practical when the snow comes.

Five. Good Juju Oily/Combination Hair Conditioner Bar. I would like to add this to my group of subscriptions from Good Juju, I currently subscribe to their shampoo bar and their laundry detergent strips, it’s a really easy way to not run out of my low-waste products.

I think that’s it. I will be in Toronto and have a free morning, and I do think I am going to look around the mall or a shopping area because it is time to start thinking about fall/winter shopping; I might go through my fall/winter clothing and see if I notice any gaps.
