I did something radical and so obvious that I cannot believe I didn’t think of it sooner, I set a reminder on my phone to take these pictures everyday. I didn’t miss a single day this week. This has not happened in months.
High: I drove down to Thunder Bay for a few hours on Saturday. Is it insane to drive 4 hours each way for an afternoon? Yes, very. Did I love every second of it? Also yes. I got a really nice sandwich, wandered in and out of shops, and got a piercing, which was the real reason for my trip.
Goal: Honestly, just to get through the week. I have been struggling lately between my back pain, my apartment getting dirtier and dirtier thanks to my back, work, everything. So I just wanted to get through.
Monday//

Tuesday//
What I did: Worked from the office
What I wore: Dress – Old – Joe Fresh, Tights – Snag
Wednesday//
What I did: worked from the office
What I wore: Turtleneck – Old – Joe Fresh, Skirt – Old – Joe Fresh (I think I’m going to let go of this skirt, it’s too big and I don’t think it’s take-inable, it’s not even really pin-able, and I just don’t love the way it sits on me).
Thursday//
What I did: Worked from the office
What I wore: Jean jacket – Old – Kut from the Kloth, Shirt – Old – Hill House Home, Belt – Old – Mark’s Work WearHouse, Pants – Old – Joe Fresh
Friday//
What I did: Worked from the office, got prepared to drive down to Thunder Bay the next day
What I wore: Sweater – Old – Talbots, Jeans – Reitmans
Saturday//
What I did: Drove to Thunder Bay and back, ate lunch out, wandered around the shops, got a new piercing, Starbucks, and went to Indigo (a bookstore).
What I wore: Top – Girlfriend Collective, Jeans – Reitmans
Sunday//
What I did: Deep cleaned my apartment, scrubbed kitchen, dusted pictures and furniture, scrubbed bathroom, vacuumed and mopped, washed sheets.
What I wore: Top – Girlfriend Collective, Leggings – Old – Aerie
