A Week-ish in Outfits

If you haven’t seen the meme that says “adulthood is saying that life will slow down over and over until you die”, that is exactly how I feel at the moment, just rollercoaster drop after rollercoaster drop until the end of time.

High: I had a really, really great weekend. It was the perfect balance of wholesome and feral and while I didn’t get as much done as I was hoping to, it was so worth it.

Low: Once again work, although I do really truly believe that we have turned a corner. Also, looking at these pictures, I think I regret getting my haircut. It will grow back of course, but still I don’t know if I like it shorter.

Monday//

What I did: Went to work, started my new job, generally had a bad/weird day

What I wore: Turtleneck – Joe Fresh (teal not available), Skirt – Joe Fresh (only black available now), Tights – Snag

Tuesday//

What I did: Went to work, had the weirdness continue

What I wore: Sweater – Amazon, Pants – Abel Mountain Boutique, Shoes – Vionic (also shoes are going to completely stop making an appearance, because we are now in snow boot season and all my office shoes are back to living in the office)

Friday//

What I did: Went to work, got coffee, ran a couple errands

What I wore: Turtleneck – Talbots, Skirt – Hill House Home (similar here), Tights – Snag

Friday night//

What I did: Work Christmas party

What I wore: Black Furry Sleeved Cardigan – old – The Shoe Lounge, Cami – old – Joe Fresh, Ponte Pants – old – The Shoe Lounge (similar here and here), Boots – old – Steve Madden

Saturday//

What I did: Got a holiday coffee and hit the local Christmas arts and crafts fair with friends, went home and was lazy for the afternoon, went to public skating in the evening, hit the legion and won both shuffleboard and foosball, went back to my friends’ house and stayed out to until 5am. (hence the wholesome and feral in the high).

What I wore: Yes this is what I wore to stay out until 5 am, disappointing I know. Pullover – old – Gift?, Jeans – Madewell
