September was a fantastic month, an absolutely insanely busy month but it was so fun and fulfilling and I really needed it.
Also today is Truth and Reconciliation Day, if you live on settled land please take the time today to think about the loss and suffering that Indigenous Peoples endured for colonization to occur and that continues to occur today.

This is just a fact.

Ojibwe Provincial Park is one of my favourite places, it’s so pristine.

I came out of my pet sit and noticed this dent, it literally looks like there is a shoe print in it. Or a bike tread, I don’t know, but I know for certain I have never hit anything with this car and I am so annoyed.

This is one example of September being chaotic. I finished my last pet sit on Sunday, packed up that day and night for a 5 day work trip (blue back pack) and then for a 10 day vacation. With the intention of moving a bunch of stuff over from the blue backpack to the purple case. Which did not happen, I went on vacation, with no activewear, 3 underwear, 17 socks, and no bras. I clearly lost my mind at some point in the packing process. I was home a total of 5 nights in September and 3 of them have been in the past 3 days.

I am in love with the park down by the beach and marina in Arnprior.

I’m going to add this to my Ottawa Valley Favourites post, it is a new store in Merrickville and it is so cute, I could have bought several more things than I did.

I just love a train.

I’m also unbearable on trips, all I want to do is walk around and explore, but I may kill you.

Ideally all of the walking comes with several coffees and pastries.

I did a full post on Montreal, but I had the best time and will 1000% be back.

I went to Aritzia for the first time in years, I ordered a top from them online this summer and was really surprised with how well it fit. So I decided to go in and try some stuff on and see if other items would also fit. I am still thinking about this sweater that I tried on to go with a pair of trousers I bought while I was home, but I think it was too big? But they didn’t have a smaller size in store to try on and now I’m not certain what to do.
I’m starting to get really nervous about winter, but I’m really hoping to carry the energy I’ve created this summer and early fall into the winter. I am determined to.
