A Week-ish in Outfits

This week was a roller coaster, I am so glad that my vacation starts on Friday because I am in desperate need of a break. A proper break, out of town and away from responsibilities. I even have a pet sitter coming to look after Montana.

High: The solid 48 hours when I believed that I was retired from pet sitting.

Low: When I came crashing back down to Earth and got a text message asking if I was still good to pet sit this weekend and I realized that I had agreed to pet sit this past weekend before I told everyone that I was quitting pet sitting. And I just generally felt like I was either attracting or creating chaos this week.

Monday//

What I did: Honestly, writing this I cannot believe that this past Monday was Labour Day, this feels like it happened ages ago. I was pet sitting, but I was finishing the next day, so I brought most of my stuff home and mostly “moved out” of my pet sit.

What I wore: Dress – Hill House Home, Shorts – Girlfriend Collective (black not available right now)

Thursday//

What I did: Worked from the office, got coffee with a friend. And wow I like how I look so much better with bangs. Sometimes I just need them off my face, it’s like a sensory thing I guess, sometimes I just don’t want anything touching me.

What I wore: Denim Jacket – old – Kut from the Kloth, Dress- Hill House Home

Friday//

What I did: Worked from the office/tabled at one of our primary care sites for World First Aid Day, started what is actually my last pet sitting job

What I wore: Shirt – Work, Jeans – Reitman’s

Saturday//

What I did: Grocery shopped/ran errands to prep for my trips, pet sat

What I wore: Popover – old – Lilly Pulitzer, Jeans – Reitman’s, Sneakers – Superga

Sunday//

What I did: Finished pet sitting, cleaned, meal prepped, packed, unpacked, packed

What I wore: Hoodie – old – Joe Fresh, Workout tank – old – Joe Fresh, Shorts – Girlfriend Collective (black not currently available)

Have a great week!

Laura
