When I was doing my content planning for October, I meant for this post to go up much earlier in the month. However, that is kind of on theme because every year, every year, I intend to start my Halloween costume super early. Like in September. But I never do, it is always like two weeks out maximum, I think last year I started at three weeks out and that was the best I’ve ever done. So for those of us like me, who have every intention of being prepared, but never are.

I think Kim Possible is one of the easiest Halloween costumes for us, particularly with the current trendiness of crop tops, cargo pants, and combat boots. Add in a side part, a thick brown belt or belt bag, and a black upper lip and you’ve got an instantly recognizable costume for anyone under the age of 45.

Daphne Blake – this one can be really easily done if you already wear a lot of purple. Purple dress, purple shoes, purple headband, green scarf and you’ve got it. It can also easily become a couples’ costume with Fred or a group costume with the whole Scooby Gang.

This is another one that is made easy by what it is trending at the moment. If you have leaned into the Y2K, 90s resurgence, you cold probably pull together a Willow Rosenberg look. If you are going for one of the earlier seasons you are going to want to lean young, innocent, and a little nerdy. If you are going for a later season look you can go more stereotypically 90s and a little gay-sexy and witchy; if that makes any sense at all.

I will never dress up as Ginny Weasley because I have heard too many men say “You know I had a huge crush on Ginny growing up” as an attempt at a pick up line. However – the school uniform version of her costumes would be very easy (and warm) to put together. A grey cardigan, a white button down, a black skirt, black tights, and black loafers or brogues, the only thing that is out of the ordinary is the red and gold tie.

There are so many other options for a redheaded Halloween costume: Bloom from The Winx Saga, Ginger Spice, Chucky, Black Widow, Ms. Frizzle, Poison Ivy, Fiona from Shrek (human or ogre), Jessie from Toy Story 2, Merida, Blossom from The Powerpuff Girls, Cady Heron from Mean Girls, Olive Pendergast from Easy A, and so many others. But in my opinion, these three are among the easiest to pull together.
