Autumn Mood Board

So I was trying to stave off autumn as long as I could because where I live all autumn means is winter, and I am not ready for winter. However, it is actively getting cooler every day and I actually must get out my warmer clothes. However, if I have to accept that autumn is here then I will fully embrace it and make the best of it.

I also am lucky this year to have a couple weeks down in southern Ontario, one week off and one week working remotely, and the autumns in Southern Ontario are much nicer than the autumns in Northern Ontario. So I am determined to make the most of being close to things like apple orchards and pumpkin patches and orange trees and all of that while down there. Then I will get back up here just in time for the Halloween season (and several no-spend weeks).

There also is so much to be excited about for autumn, the outfits are so good, the food is excellent; pumpkin baked goods, chilis, pastas; spiced beverages, soft blankets, not-sweaty bangs, Thanksgiving, and Halloween. And even into the beginning of winter we get Christmas and all kinds of craft fairs and just general cozy time.

So yeah, I’m going to make sure that I enjoy autumn. I refuse to dread a season that I used to love because of what happens after. Seasonal Affective Disorder already ruins winter, I can’t let it ruin autumn.
