June has been a whirlwind. I honestly cannot believe everything that has happened, I cannot believe how fast 2023 is going. I feel like it’s the fastest time has ever moved.
In/Out

Honestly, I was having a really hard time coming up with outs this month, which is definitely a good thing. I have been having such a good time in June, it’s been a bit overwhelming.
The only one I want to elaborate on is “being unapologetically enthusiastic”, I went to the Taylor Swift show on Saturday and it was the best. And some of it was because everyone was so genuinely excited to be there. The energy was just so good, and it felt so good to allow myself to feel unbridled joy and excitement and be in a room where everyone else was also so joyous and excited. Actually, I am going to stop this here, because I think I want to do a whole essay on joy.
June Bucket List
- See Taylor Swift
- Go to Target
- Go to Trader Joes
- Go to the beach
- Take tennis lessons
- Enjoy stone fruit season
June To Dos
- Figure out all my outfits for my trip and order anything I need
- Survive work
- Wear sunscreen
- Book a pet sitter for July
- Change windshield wiper blades
June Goals
This honestly feels silly now, but my big goal in June was not to spend money, but then I got Taylor Swift tickets for $209 USD and I couldn’t not. Sooooo, sorry vacation budget.
What I’m Watching
I am fully on a Buffy the Vampire Slayer kick, although I have hit season 3, which means it’s time to start figuring out the schedule with Angel. I also started Citadel on Prime, and watched all of Three Pines, also on Prime.
I don’t know how I feel about Three Pines I really appreciate the addition of the Missing and Murdered Indigenous Women, Girls, and Two-Spirit (MMIWG2S) and Residential Schools storylines, I think having a crime show, set and filmed now, in Canada it would be totally inappropriate to not have. However, I loved the books the way they were, and I’m not sure that the additions made fill in the loss of the content from the books that had to happen to add in a completely new storyline. I kind of wish they got their own story, rather than being added on to something already existing.
What I’m Listening To
Favourites

- Every Summer After by Carly Fortune

This post feels a bit silly to be doing so late in the month. But I really enjoy them and love the little recap they are outside of photos.
