The Friday Edit: Vol. 40

This week was a good week, I only had one bad headache, which apparently is how I measure a good week now. It was just an ordinary week, but I feel like I’ve turned a corner in motivation or something, I feel good, for the first time in a while.

Weekend Reading//

I knew that Taylor would be the Time Magazine Person of the Year, who else would it be this year? I’m in love with the line “..she gives people…permission to believe that their interior lives matter.”

Self (formerly Self Magazine) is doing a Diet Culture Detox course in the New Year.

I’ve been considering growing out my bangs and the return of the side part may be just what I need.

This is such a chic round-up of fitness gear. (It’s a gift guide, but it’s still chic).

I am so in to the era of unserious celebrity, the Goop Gift Guide is just so fun.

It’s important to have friends across age groups.

How to make time for volunteering.

How to get into pickleball as a solo player.

I feel a little weird about it, but I am already in New Year’s mode; I love Christmas but I don’t know I’m really ready for a fresh start, so I am absolutely on the pre-Resolution train.

Catching Up//

What I’m Buying in December.

Financial Fitness Check-In: November 2023.

A Week in Outfits.

What I Read in November.

Caught My Eye//

Honestly, I don’t have anything this week and I feel like all I’ve done is look at online shopping websites and I’m just uninspired.

Weekly R.E.P.O.R.T.//

Reading: Time Magazine’s Person of the Year article, obvi.

Eating: Honey Sriracha Ground Chicken and Broccoli.

Playing: Snow Angel by Renee Rapp (the song specifically, although I also enjoy the album).

Obsessing: Over warm socks (idk I just can’t get my feet warm lately).

Recommending: Good Juju laundry detergent.

Treating: Holiday coffee drinks. It’s just the best coffee shop season.

Have a great weekend!

Laura
