October was a rollercoaster of a month, I started on such a high and ended it in the emergency room.

On October 1st I spent the day at the Aberfoyle Antique Market and had a great time. It’s a perfect way to spend a Sunday if you are in the area.

This is the Pub Board on the University of Guelph campus, it’s where the weekly Aggie Pub themes are advertised and was such a flashback.

For my friend’s wedding they put together these little gift bags, with his favorite candy and her favorite candies and a ring pop. I ditched the ring pop but it was so cute. They bonded over Harry Potter and he proposed at Harry Potter World hence the Honeyduke’s bag.

Monigram Coffee Roasters in Cambridge came highly recommended to me.

The wedding was at the Cambridge Mill.

The view over the river.

I hadn’t turned my heat on yet because I have baseboard heaters and needed to vacuum them out before I turned them on and this is when I felt guilty about it.

We attended a live exercise in one of the First Nations communities we serve and it was really interesting.

I got this smoothie from Tonic Bar at Sweat and Tonic after my Pilates class, this was the first thing I was able to keep down in a few days.

I noticed that there was a %Arabica in Union Station and I’ve seen it all over insta-stories of the New York influencers. I don’t really get the hype.

Union Station is one of my favourite (but most confusing) buildings in Toronto. Although it has been getting better as the construction has started to wrap up.

I’m obsessed with Slut!

I couldn’t bring myself to go out for Halloween so my friend had a couple of us over for make your own pizza and Practical Magic.

And then on the 30th, I admitted that I was too sick to manage on my own and took myself to the emergency room. They pumped me full of fluids and anti-nausea medications and I feel so much better now. I feel alive. Embarrassingly, I fainted twice, although that did make me feel like I wasn’t being dramatic.
I’m looking forward to a restful November.
Laura
