This week was a week of realizing that I cannot do it all. I have been so tired lately and I have to accept that it’s just not possible. I have to figure out what my priorities are and then fit in the other stuff around those priorities. And one of those priorities has to be sleep.
Weekend Reading//
“The French Paradox” (but also on a side note, why are North Americans, myself included, so obsessed with French women).
Remember what you liked as a child.
I am so looking forward to having more time at home and cooking more.
With all the news coming out of Gaza and Israel, this is the number one thing I keep coming back to; what was Hamas thinking???
How to make your bedroom sultrier.
I might apply the bare minimum Monday trend to Wednesdays because I’m always shattered on Wednesdays.
I love this line “It’s almost our duty as New Yorkers to dress up”.
How hotels are adapting to changing travel trends.
I was thinking about this the other day, but Taylor Swift is really making her 30s look good.
The people who market stuff to teens, in the beauty industry, in the diet industry, in the wellness industry, should all go to hell.
Catching Up//
And that’s all she wrote this week.
Caught My Eye//
This bow is very Samantha Parkington-coded.
Two-tone cap-toe flats from Amazon.
This dress has my brother’s name and is gorgeous.
A makeup kit to get Pricilla Presley’s iconic winged liner and fluffy lashes.
The Past Week//
Actually this week I have been very focused on getting back into a workout routine and not binge-eating and I have been having a great week with that, which I am quite pleased with.
Have a wonderful weekend!
Laura
