There’s this really cute TikToker and author named Eli @EliRallo and she makes these videos where she writes down a list of rules for a certain scenario. It could be rules for a specific month, a specific situation, a specific period of time. However, her rules often don’t work for me because she’s 24, wealthy, and lives in New York City. I am almost 30, not wealthy, and live in a small town, hours from a small city, let alone a major one. There are not even restaurants in this town, so a lot of her rules just are not options for me. So, here are rules for small town, almost 30 somethings.

So to quote Ms. Eli herself, “I have opinions, you have ears”:

Oh, and one I forgot is to stop and smell the lilacs, they are blooming all over town and I am so excited.
