This was a great week, summer is here and I am back to thriving.
Weekly high: On Saturday I had two woman stop me in Wal-Mart to tell me my hair looked good and the girl at Starbucks told me I looked like a Disney Princess. I was walking on air. You couldn’t tell me anything Saturday evening.
This week’s goal: Not get sunburnt. I have already made a few sun safety mistakes and it’s not good. I have to be more careful.

Monday//
What I did: It was a holiday, so I lounged outside, tidied up the apartment a bit, meal planned and prepped for the work week.
What I wore: Jumpsuit – Ancient – Old Navy

Tuesday//
What I did: Worked from the office, I know I did something in the evening, but I cannot remember. I’ve been toying with the idea of updating each week’s version of this post every day because on Sunday afternoon when I write this I’m always struggling to remember what I did that week.
What I wore: Blouse – Old – Boutique (The Shoe Lounge in Renfrew, Ontario), Pants – Old – Target (similar, and potentially comfier), Shoes – Old – Aldo (these are not comfortable, so if you have any recommendations for comfier nude office heels please send them my way)

Wednesday//
What I did: Worked from the office, meal prepped and packed for a work trip on Thursday and Friday.
What I wore: Sweater – Old – Kiel James Patrick (similar-ish), Pants – Old – Old Navy (same style, white doesn’t seem to be available at the moment), Shoes – Vionic

Thursday//
What I did: Drove up to one of the drive-in communities to work for the next couple days
What I wore: Blouse – Old – Reitman’s (similar, but in Australia), Jeans – Old – Reitman’s, Sneakers – Supergas

Saturday (day)//
What I did: Ran errands in the next town over, mostly for cat food and cat litter.
What I wore: Dress – Old – Hill House Home (same style, this pattern not available anymore).

Saturday (night)//
What I did: Went to a barbecue in my friend’s backyard and then to a social. Socials are a uniquely Canadian phenomenon. They are also called Stag and Does in Southern Ontario, and allegedly cabarets in Saskatchewan. They are basically wedding fundraisers which I think is tacky as heck, but beggars can’t be choosers for social events in a small town.
What I wore: Top – Old Navy Jeans – Old Navy, Boots – Ariat

Sunday//
What I did: Went on a hike in the early afternoon, jumped in the (freezing) water after to cool down, somehow got covered in mud? So showered and put this on. Wrote this post twice because it didn’t save the first time.
What I wore: Jumpsuit – Ancient – Old Navy
